My sincerest apologies for recommending such an inappropriate read. Apparently, the good-reads go ahead from a close friend, is not reason enough to believe that a book is actually worth reading. Again, so sorry....So, if it's not too much trouble, take a gander back at the other two choices and add to it this one: French Milk. It's a graphic novel (I know, a little untradish... but looks cute. Check it out here). Let's vote anew and keep the discussion date Monday 12/8 at my house.

I'm going with All Over But the Shoutin'. I've been comparing reviews, and people seem to love this one. Plus, I'm partial because it's by a pulitzer-prize winning journalist. OK, that was really long post...

well hmmm. i agree with laura's comment on the last post. good points. and we seem to be split on the other book choices. either way im reading alaska b/c i already have it, and we need to figure this out soon before we all leave for thanksgiving!
I also already bought and am reading alaska either way so I am fine with continuing with it..if ya'll pick another book, Lauren, I'm stealing yours because the hubs put the hiatus on my book buying!
since I didn't finish the book and laura has, maybe we should finish reading. My judgement was of course premature. I'm open to finishing. What do you guys think?
Should we enact some sort of rule that we have to finish whatever we choose? No wussing out? I dunno, just thoughts.
