So Sharon Davies is going to be here in 2 DAYS and i hope you guys can join me in hearing her speak! im not sure if ive every heard an author speak about a book i've actually read so i'm pretty pumped. She is scheduled to speak at Cumberland School of Law at Samford University on THURSDAY at noon. Should be a really interesting and stimulating lecture. A reception will follow where you can bombard her with questions. Call me on my cell if you're coming and need directions once you get on samford's campus 205-919-2628.
So i hope everyone can do book club this friday evening at 7? i'm thinking i can make some yummy chili and maybe an fall-y apple dessert we can discuss over a casual dinner. lemme know asap so we can reschedule if we have to.

Ergh. I will be out of town this weekend and next. I didn't even get a chance to finish the book before it was due back at the library. So, basically, I'm book club's lamest member this month.
so no bookclub tonight - too many people cant make it. is anybody available ANY time next weekend? friday night, saturday, sunday? heck we could even do a breakfast or brunch or something. i would say we can do it thursday night, BUT the civil wars are playing at samford for free and i still have not seen them in person and am DYING to attend ever since it was announced. anybody is welcome to join me - they start at 8.
so yeah, let me know if anybody is availabe at anytime next weekend to chit chat about the book and life.
p.s. sorry I'M the lamest book club leader ever.
so, what's the deal with book club these days? are we going to meet for our Oct book? what do you guys think?
i never did get a chance to finish the book...unless lauren is intent on getting good discussion out of the last read, i vote to move on?
